ग़लतफहमी नही है मेरी
ये सरे गम भुलाती है
महफिल मैं हो अगर अजनबी
तो उनको यार ये बनाती है
हुस्न को देती है ये तारीफ
उनसे ताने ये लाती है
दुनिया कहती है पत्थर
इंसान तो हमे दारू बनाती है!!!!
होश मैं रहते है
तो आँखें ख्वाब दिखाती है
शराफत से जीते है
तो जिन्दगी झूठ बुलवाती है
हमे तो नाज़ है इसकी नेक्परस्ती पर
सच को होठो पर तो दारू ही लाती है
दुनिया कहती है पत्थर
इंसान तो हमे दारू बनाती है!!!!!
हमे जब वो दिखती है
तो यादें सितम ढाती है
वो हमारे है नही
ये जानकर मोहब्बत भी मुस्कुराती है
इश्क में रोना छोड़ दिया हमने
उनके नाम के आंसू तो दारू बहाती है
दुनिया कहती है पत्थर
इंसान तो हमे दारू बनाती है!!!!
मिलते तो यार रोज़ है
रंग तो महफिले जमाती है
बातों मैं खुमार दिखता है
महफिल की शान बढाती है
दगाबाज़ तो हम भी है और यार भी
सच्ची यारी तो दारू निभाती है

Really nice.
Its not just the style of expression.. i like the fact that u take up such simple topics that connects to us in our everyday life and u try to portray the truth in the simplest possible way but with that magical touch of the ryhming and the timing and it consolidates to an amazing poem that i personally enjoy reading..
